Mango Salsa for Burgers

I’m always up for trying a new veggie burger. My hearty meatless burger is still a favorite, but I’ve also played with ground up chickpeas and zucchini, olive and lentils, beets and oats, and other combinations. This mango salsa is a winner to top any burger!

Ingredients

1 mango, diced
1/4 red pepper, diced
4 large fresh basil leaves, sliced
1/2 tsp cumin
1 lemon, squeezed for juice
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Mix the ingredients in a small bowl and add salt to taste. Salsa is DONE!

Serve as a topping for your favorite veggie burger.
